Community & Relations Manager

Job Summary:

Gold heart foundation is building a stronger structure for our Siragugal Student & Alumni Care Program to connect current students, alumni, mentors, and volunteers under one coordinated system.

The aim is to help students grow with purpose and ensure alumni continue to guide and support the next generation. So, we are looking for a Community & Relations Manager who can manage both Student Care and Alumni Care programs, handle communication, events, data tracking, and help the system run smoothly across all teams.

This role is perfect for someone who loves people, education, and community work, and wants to create visible impact in the lives of students through mentoring, volunteering, and collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the entire Siragugal Student Care and Alumni Care operations.
• Track students’ academics, volunteering hours, certifications, and mentoring sessions.
• Maintain data of students, alumni, mentors, and donors in organized dashboards.
• Coordinate weekly huddles, mentoring check-ins, and safe-space sessions.
• Manage alumni activities like referrals, donations, talks, and mentorship.
• Send monthly student reports to parents and leadership teams.
• Plan and execute quarterly Sangamam events (recognition, alumni talks, donor meet).
• Maintain attendance, role changes, and leave updates for volunteers and alumni.
• Ensure all communication is timely and respectful — every message replied within 24 hours.
• Collect and publish success stories and help promote student achievements.
• Safeguard all personal and educational data with full privacy and consent.

About Gold Heart Foundation (GHF):

Gold Heart Foundation is a non-profit organization that supports the education of underprivileged students and helps them grow into responsible, skilled, and socially conscious individuals. More than 200 students are currently supported under GHF’s education program and our goal is to help 2000 in the coming years.

Under the Siragugal initiative, GHF runs two major programs:

• Student Care: For students currently studying with GHF sponsorship.
• Alumni Care: For graduates who have completed their studies and are working or searching for jobs.

Both groups together form a continuous cycle of learn, grow, serve, and give back.

Duration: Full time Mode: Hybrid (Chennai preferred) Stipend: Volunteer-based (with performance-based honorarium)
