Job Description:

As a Data Analyst at Skillmate, you will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data to provide actionable insights that will drive our decision-making process. You will work closely with our marketing, product, and operations teams to identify trends, measure performance, and optimize user engagement and growth. This role is perfect for someone who loves working with data and is passionate about uncovering insights that can shape the future of our platform.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collect and analyze data from various sources, including website traffic, user behavior, and sales/marketing metrics.
• Create and maintain dashboards and reports to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and overall platform performance.
• Conduct deep-dive analysis to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement.
• Work with cross-functional teams to support data-driven decision-making across marketing, product, and operations.
• Provide insights and recommendations to improve user engagement, conversion rates, and platform growth.
• Use statistical tools and techniques to interpret data sets and present clear and actionable insights to stakeholders.
• Assist in designing and analyzing A/B tests to optimize features and user experiences on the platform.
• Ensure data accuracy and integrity by implementing best practices for data collection, storage, and analysis.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Data Analyst, Data Scientist, or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of data analysis tools and techniques (e.g., SQL, Excel, Python, R, etc.).
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Google Data Studio.
• Ability to interpret large datasets and provide actionable insights.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Experience in the freelancing, gig economy, or HR-tech industry is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills to present complex data insights in a clear and concise manner.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with different teams.

Internship Length: 6 Months

Time Commitment: Minimum 30 hours per week

Mode: Remote (occasional in-person at Ramapuram office if needed)
