Job Summary:

We are seeking a Data Researcher with strong expertise in market research and competitive analysis to study similar platforms in the freelancing and career development space. The candidate will conduct a thorough SWOT analysis, identify key market trends, assess pricing models, and provide insights on current demands. The objective is to help Skillmate position itself as a leader in the market by finding unique differentiators and strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive market research on similar freelancing and career platforms.
• Perform a detailed SWOT (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats) analysis of Skillmate and its competitors.
• Analyze market trends, emerging demands, and technological advancements that could influence the freelancing and career development industries.
• Study competitor pricing models and suggest competitive pricing strategies for Skillmate’s services.
• Identify opportunities where Skillmate can differentiate itself, focusing on unique value propositions.
• Present actionable insights and recommendations to senior management based on research findings.
• Collaborate with the marketing and product development teams to align research findings with Skillmate’s long-term strategy.
• Stay updated on market dynamics, regulatory changes, and innovations in the HR-tech and gig economy sectors.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in data research, market analysis, or similar roles.
• Strong understanding of the freelancing, gig economy, or HR-tech industries.
• Ability to perform complex data analysis, synthesize large datasets, and generate actionable insights.
• Proficiency in using market research tools, SWOT analysis, and competitive benchmarking.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• High attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Knowledge of pricing strategies and trends in freelancing and career platforms is a plus.
