Position Overview: Intern Designer

We’re looking for a creative and enthusiastic Intern Designer to join our team and help bring Skillmate.ai’s vision to life through engaging, impactful, and visually stunning designs. As an Intern Designer, you’ll work closely with our creative and marketing teams to craft compelling visual content for social media, marketing campaigns, branding, and UI/UX projects.

This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced, tech-driven startup environment while learning from experienced professionals.

What You’ll Do (Key Responsibilities)

• Create eye-catching visuals for social media platforms like Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, and Twitter.
• Design marketing materials such as posters, banners, infographics, and digital ad creatives.
• Develop wireframes and UI mockups for web pages and user interfaces.
• Contribute to branding efforts by designing logos, icons, and other brand assets.
• Collaborate with content and marketing teams to ensure design consistency across campaigns.
• Review and refine designs based on feedback from team members and stakeholders.
• Stay updated with design trends and bring innovative ideas to the table.
• Manage design tasks efficiently, ensuring high-quality output and timely delivery.

What We Expect (Key Requirements)

• No degree required – We value your skills and creativity over formal education!
• Basic understanding of design principles, typography, and color theory.
• Strong portfolio showcasing creative design work (academic or freelance projects are acceptable).
• Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) or Figma.
• Familiarity with social media design trends and digital marketing concepts.
• Effective communication skills to work collaboratively in a team.
• Eagerness to learn, take initiative, and adapt in a fast-moving startup environment.

Preferred Qualifications (Bonus Skills)

• Experience with motion graphics (After Effects, Canva, or other tools).
• Basic knowledge of UX/UI design (Figma, Draw.io, Sketch).
• Familiarity with Canva, CorelDRAW, or other design platforms.
• Understanding of design requirements across different platforms (social media, web, ads, etc.).
