Job Description:

As a Social Media Engineer at Skillmate, you will manage and execute our social media strategies across multiple platforms. You will focus on automating and optimizing our social media processes, integrating technical tools and analytics, and ensuring that we effectively engage our audience. You will work closely with the marketing and content teams to enhance our social media presence through strategic planning and execution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement a social media strategy to increase brand awareness, engagement, and follower growth across platforms like Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube.
• Automate social media posting and integrate analytical tools to track performance and engagement.
• Optimize content distribution using APIs, automation platforms, and advanced social media management tools.
• Analyze social media metrics to generate insights, improve engagement, and tailor future content strategies.
• Collaborate with content creators and designers to ensure consistent and engaging visual and written content.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging social media trends, tools, and platform updates, implementing best practices for growth and engagement.
• Monitor online conversations and respond to audience interactions in real-time to foster community engagement.
• Troubleshoot technical issues related to social media integrations and automation tools.

Requirements:

• Experience in social media management and automation tools such as Hootsuite, Buffer, Zapier, or similar.
• Strong understanding of social media platforms (Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube) and their respective algorithms.
• Familiarity with analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Facebook Insights, and other social media reporting platforms.
• Technical knowledge of social media APIs and automation workflows.
• Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for managing web integrations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment, adapting to changing priorities.
