Job Description:

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor to support our in-house production team. The ideal candidate will take charge of editing reels, promotional videos, and other video content that captures the essence of Skillmate's services. You will work closely with our marketing and social media teams to create visually appealing and engaging content for our platform and social channels. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a creative environment and is passionate about video production and storytelling.

Key Responsibilities:

• Edit and produce high-quality video content, including reels, promotional videos, and short-form content for social media.
• Collaborate with the production team to capture footage and ensure it aligns with Skillmate's branding and messaging.
• Enhance videos with graphics, sound, and other visual elements to create engaging and attractive content.
• Manage post-production tasks, including color correction, audio adjustments, and special effects.
• Stay up-to-date with current video editing techniques and trends to ensure our content remains fresh and relevant.
• Work with marketing teams to create content that promotes Skillmate’s services and appeals to our target audience.
• Organize and manage media assets, ensuring efficient workflow for video production.
• Provide creative input on video concepts and direction during the production process.
• Ensure timely delivery of all video projects while maintaining high production standards.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Video Editor with a portfolio showcasing edited reels, promotional videos, or similar projects.
• Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
• Basic understanding of video production processes, including filming, editing, and post-production.
• Creative mindset with a keen eye for detail and storytelling.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
• Basic communication skills and ability to collaborate with other teams.
• Knowledge of video formats, codecs, and video delivery best practices for social media platforms like Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube.
• Experience with graphic design and motion graphics is a plus.
